Jateswar Welfare Association (J.W.A)
We organize regular medical and eye treatment camps in remote villages to ensure healthcare reaches the underprivileged. Our mission includes vital awareness drives for diseases like Covid-19, Malaria, and Dengue to protect rural health.
Every year, J.W.A. conducts massive distribution drives for blankets and warm clothes. We focus on protecting orphans and tribal families, including those at Dolmoni Tea Estate, from the harsh winter conditions.
To fight hunger and malnutrition, we provide essential food kits to vulnerable groups and tribal communities. Our goal is to ensure that no child or elderly person in our operational areas goes without a nutritious meal.
Under our Kisholoy project, we provide free books and educational kits to primary students. By supporting over 100+ students, we are actively working to eliminate child labor and keep children in the classroom.
We empower rural women by forming Self Help Groups (SHG) and providing micro-credit support. Our focus is on skill development and financial independence to help women lead a life of dignity and security.
Our future goal is to establish a dedicated ambulance service for poor villagers. This initiative aims to provide timely medical transportation, ensuring that lack of a vehicle is never a barrier to saving a life.
